Dr. Horne is UC Foundation Associate Professor of Public Administration. His research focuses on the government-nonprofit relationship, and his work has been published in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Administration and Society, Journal of Nonprofit Management, Journal of Public Affairs Education, and International Journal of Public Administration. Dr. Horne also conducts program evaluations for nonprofit organizations in the fields of informal science education, youth development, and college access. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in research methods, public policy, program planning and evaluation, and nonprofit management and supervises the graduate and undergraduate internship programs. Prior to coming to UTC, Dr. Horne served on the public administration faculty at Kennesaw State University and conducted research with the Applied Research Center and Nonprofit Studies Program at Georgia State University.
