The World War II correspondence of PFC Thomas R. Jones, Sr. while serving in the U.S. Army from December 1943-December 1945. The letters from Jones are to his wife, Mary Mildred Jones, living in Cleveland, Tennessee. The letters deal with day-to-day war-time activities as Private Jones goes through basic training, and after he is shipped to Europe in 1944.
