Distance Learning Resources

Library Services

As a currently enrolled UTC Distance Learning program student, you have access to hundreds of thousands of online books and articles through the Library website.  However, if the book or article you need is not available online, the Library will send it to you through the UTC Interlibrary loan system called ILLiad.

Your first step is to register with Interlibrary Loan!

Request a Journal Article

    1. Login to Interlibrary Loan
    2. Choose Article from the New Request menu on the left
    3. Fill out the form and click Submit Request

You’ll be notified by e-mail when your article has arrived in your InterLibrary Loan account.  Simply login to Interlibrary Loan and click on Electronically Received Articles in the menu on the left.  Be sure to click on the PDF and save the article to your computer or a USB drive. Articles will be removed from your Interlibrary Loan account after 21 days.
