Alumni and Visitor Services

The UTC Library is open to the public and visitors are welcome to come in and use library materials on site.

Computer Access

The Library provides 3 Guest User workstations on the ground floor of the Library to get you started with your research. These workstations do not require you to login with a UTCID or password and give visitors access to the library catalog (for finding call numbers and locations) as well as access to all of our online journals and databases.

These Guest User workstations only provide access to library materials and will not allow you to access outside websites such as Google. All other computers in the library require a UTCID and password for login. The Library does not have guest usernames and passwords for visitors.

If you would like to print during your visit, you will need to purchase a Guest Card from the vending machine near the Library entrance. Cards cost $1 and come with $1 worth of printing money loaded on them. Back and white prints cost .07 and color prints cost .35 each. You can add additional money to the Guest Card if you need to print more than $1 worth during your visit.

Borrowing Privileges

If you would like to check out materials as a guest, a Courtesy Card is required. Check the sidebar for information on how to apply.
