Network security is of utmost importance at UTC because of the numerous external and internal threats to our systems and information. Our network is the first line of defense against today's sophisticated cyber threats.  Visit the Network Services website for more information about its mission and its team.

Monthly IT Security Presentations

The IT Security Office would like to invite you to join us at our monthly security awareness presentations. Twice each month we hold an hour long discussion in the University Center about relevant security topics. Previous subject matter included Safer Browsing Habits, The Underground Economy of Identity Theft, Social Networking and Social Engineering. Please note that we discuss one topic per month, on two different dates. This gives people a second chance to attend.  Join us with your questions and contact us if you have a specific topic that you'd like us to cover.

During October 2016 we will be covering weekly themes per the National Cyber Security Month campaign.  (See below.)
