Request Change to SharePoint Access

Special Note

If you are the individual needing access, you will need someone authorized to approve your access to submit this form. Otherwise, the request will be emailed to the site owner for approval.

Directions

  1. Open your preferred web browser to: SharePoint Access Change Form
  2. Under the 'Username' field, enter your UTC ID (ex. abc123)
  3. Under the 'Password' field, enter your UTC password
  4. Select 'Log In'
  5. Under the 'Change access of' section, enter the required information:
    • First Name: (ex. Jane)
    • Last Name: (ex. Smith)
    • UTC ID: (ex. abc123)
  6. Under the 'SharePoint site URL' field, enter the URL of the SharePoint site you need access to (ex. spaces.utc.edu/sites/example)
  7. Answer the 'Can desired access...' question
  8. If yes, under the 'Copy access from' section, enter the required information:
    1. First Name: (ex. John)
    2. Last Name: (ex. Smith)
    3. UTC ID: (ex. bcd234)
  9. If no, under the 'Please describe the...' field, enter a description of the level of access you are requesting for the individual (ex. Needs to be able to upload and edit document)
  10. Select 'Submit'

Once the form has been submitted, an IT support ticket will be entered in your name. You should receive an email confirmation within 10 minutes. You will receive another email when the request has been fulfilled or if any additional information is required.
