Open an IT Support Ticket through Footprints

Directions

  1. Open your preferred web browser to: https://helpdesk.utc.edu
  2. Under the ‘User ID’ field, enter your UTC ID (ex. abc123)
  3. Under the ‘Password’ field, enter your UTC password
  4. Select ‘Login’
    • If this is your first time logging in, it may take 1 to 2 minutes to create your account.
  5. Under the ‘Summary’ field, enter a brief summary of your problem (ex. Computer not powering on)
  6. Under the ‘Last Name’ field, enter your last name (ex. Smith)
  7. Under the ‘First Name’ field, enter your first name (ex. Jane)
  8. Under the ‘Email Address’ field, enter your UTC email address (ex. Jane-Smith@utc.edu or abc123@mocs.utc.edu)
  9. Under the ‘Phone’ field, enter your phone number (ex. 423-425-4000)
  10. Under the ‘Department’ field, if applicable, enter your UTC department (ex. Information Technology)
  11. Under the ‘Building’ field, if applicable, enter the building in which you are located
  12. Under the ‘Room Number’, if applicable, enter the room number in which you are located
  13. Under the ‘Office Hours’ field, if applicable, enter your typical office hours throughout the week
  14. Under the ‘Problem Type’ field, select the problem type that most accurately matches your issue
  15. Under the ‘Description’ field, enter a detailed description if your issue
