If there was a problem with your print job, and you didn't receive it after swiping your card and paying for it, you can request a refund. Speak to a staff member in the department where the printer is located and ask them to fill out a MocsPrint refund request.
No. MocsPrint Mobile is designed to make printing faster and more convenient. To do that, some printing flexibility had to be sacrificed.

MocsPrint Mobile supports most document and image formats, and sometimes can "unofficially" support some files that aren't listed here. However, there are many thousands of different file formats and we haven't tested with all of them, so we only guarantee support for the file types listed here:
  • DOC, DOCX (MS Word)
  • GIF, JPG, PNG, TIFF (Images)
  • HTM, HTML (Web pages)
  • PDF (Adobe PDF)
  • PPT, PPTX (MS PowerPoint)
  • RTF, TXT (Text files)
  • XLS, XLSX (MS Excel)

If the file you would like to print is not one of the supported types, the recommended solution is to save/export/print it as a PDF. Most major programs allow you to save or export to a PDF file. If yours doesn't, and you need a program to save files as PDF, try PDF Creator.

If you need to print a web page, please see the question below regarding web page printing.

The maximum file size for the document upload service is 50 megabytes. To check your file size, save your document to a location of your choice. Go to that location and (Windows) right-click the file and select properties, or (Mac OS X) click once to select the file, then go to File-Get Info. If your file is larger than 50 megabytes, you can use a lab computer that is already set up to print to a MocsPrint printer, or use the conventional printing instructions to install the printer on your personal computer. There is no file size limit when using this method.
Yes, please refer to these instructions if you would like to install a MocsPrint printer and drivers to your personal laptop or computer.
Print requests from a MocsPrint Mobile app or Document Upload site are sent to the cloud servers where a secure release code is appended to keep documents private. The release code is presented to the user from within the Mobile app and via email confirmation from document upload submissions. The required code is then used to claim and release jobs at a MocsPrint Paystation.
It is a collaborative effort with ITC/GoPrint Systems, one of the leading print Management solutions for Colleges and public libraries, and PrinterOn, an innovator in mobile cloud printing. This collaboration enables users to print wirelessly through the document upload feature or through an app from their device and pay for printing within MocsPrint.
The PrinterOn app is FREE and can be purchased from the AppStore for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices. Search for PrinterOn on the appropriate store or click the links from the MocsPrint Mobile App page.
All issues with purchasing and downloading the mobile app are the sole responsibility of the app store, such as Apple or Android Stores. Please contact the store directly for all app purchasing and download issues.
You can still use your device, but will use the document upload feature rather than the app. Refer to the MocsPrint Mobile Document Upload page.
Select the print location you would like to use from the graphical map, then you will be given a list of printers at that location.
From your App, check "Print History" to see if the document was confirmed or printed. If it's in a pending state, please wait to see if it completes processing. If it is in a failed state, please contact UTC Solutions Center at 423-425-4000 and talk to a support representative. Alternatively, you can go to https://helpdesk.utc.edu/footprints/help.html and create a ticket requesting assistance.
From the PrinterOn app, click the "Web" button. From the Document Upload web page, simply paste the URL of a web page you want printed. Alternatively, web pages can be saved as a PDF and then uploaded to print. If you need a program to create PDFs, try PDF Creator.
You must download or open the attachment, then select the 'Open In' icon (arrow in upper right corner on iOS devices) and select "Copy to PrinterOn".
GoPrint Mobile is powered by PrinterOn, which secures your data on-device with military-grade encryption before transferring it safely via SSL to the printer of your choice.
