No. MocsPrint Mobile is designed to make printing faster and more convenient. To do that, some printing flexibility had to be sacrificed.

MocsPrint Mobile supports most document and image formats, and sometimes can "unofficially" support some files that aren't listed here. However, there are many thousands of different file formats and we haven't tested with all of them, so we only guarantee support for the file types listed here:
  • DOC, DOCX (MS Word)
  • GIF, JPG, PNG, TIFF (Images)
  • HTM, HTML (Web pages)
  • PDF (Adobe PDF)
  • PPT, PPTX (MS PowerPoint)
  • RTF, TXT (Text files)
  • XLS, XLSX (MS Excel)

If the file you would like to print is not one of the supported types, the recommended solution is to save/export/print it as a PDF. Most major programs allow you to save or export to a PDF file. If yours doesn't, and you need a program to save files as PDF, try PDF Creator.

If you need to print a web page, please see the question below regarding web page printing.

The maximum file size for the document upload service is 50 megabytes. To check your file size, save your document to a location of your choice. Go to that location and (Windows) right-click the file and select properties, or (Mac OS X) click once to select the file, then go to File-Get Info. If your file is larger than 50 megabytes, you can use a lab computer that is already set up to print to a MocsPrint printer, or use the conventional printing instructions to install the printer on your personal computer. There is no file size limit when using this method.
Yes, please refer to these instructions if you would like to install a MocsPrint printer and drivers to your personal laptop or computer.
Print requests from a MocsPrint Mobile app or Document Upload site are sent to the cloud servers where a secure release code is appended to keep documents private. The release code is presented to the user from within the Mobile app and via email confirmation from document upload submissions. The required code is then used to claim and release jobs at a MocsPrint Paystation.
It is a collaborative effort with GoPrint Systems, one of the leading print Management solutions for Colleges and public libraries and Breezy, an innovator in mobile cloud printing. This collaboration enables users to print wirelessly through the document upload feature or through an app from their device and pay for printing within MocsPrint.
The GoPrint Mobile app is $4.99 and can be purchased from the AppStore for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices. Search for GoPrint on the appropriate store or click the links from the MocsPrint Mobile App page.
All issues with purchasing and downloading the mobile app are the sole responsibility of the app store, such as Apple or Android Stores. Please contact the store directly for all app purchasing and download issues.
You can still use your device, but will use the document upload feature rather than the app. Refer to the MocsPrint Mobile Document Upload page.
Select the print location you would like to use from the graphical map, then you will be given a list of printers at that location.
GoPrint Mobile does not support the Breezy Connector or the Breezy app. You can only use the GoPrint Mobile app or Document Upload feature to print to MocsPrint Mobile printers.
From your App or the Document Upload page, check "Recently Printed" to see if the document was confirmed or printed. If it's in a pending state, please wait to see if it completes processing. If it is in a failed state, please contact UTC Client Services at 423-425-4000 and talk to a Help Desk representative. Alternatively, you can go to https://helpdesk.utc.edu/footprints/help.html and create a ticket requesting assistance.
Currently all web pages must be first saved as a PDF and then uploaded to print. If you need a program to create PDFs, try PDF Creator.
Please note that not all pages can be printed at this time; long or graphics-heavy pages may get a "Not enough memory" error when you tap the print button. We're working on a fix for this; stay tuned.
Printing photos is not directly supported in iOS at this time, but is coming soon. You can still print photos by uploading them to Box, Dropbox, or Google Drive from your phone and then using the GoPrint Mobile app to print from these programs. Refer to the MocsPrint Mobile App page for more information.
You must download or open the attachment, then select the 'Open In' icon (arrow in upper right corner on iOS devices) and select the GoPrint Mobile App. See the tutorial here.
You must copy the contents from the body and paste the Clipboard contents into the GoPrint Mobile app and then print.
We do not currently support printing a Fax.
GoPrint Mobile is powered by Breezy, which secures your data on-device with military-grade encryption before transferring it safely via SSL to the printer of your choice.
