The online directory provides a listing of faculty/staff and their department, campus
location, mail code, phone number, and email address. Keeping this information current
by visiting this page and *Login* with your UTCID & password and *Edit Information* to update your entry.
- If you Teach or are Enrolled in Classes
If you are taking classes and/or you teach, you will also need to contact the Records
office to change your address.
- Employee Self Service has several new features available to all university employees
(regular, term and student). An employee does not have to be an IRIS user. The new features are:
- Home Address Update – You may change your home address and you may add up to 4 additional
telephone numbers for fax numbers, cell numbers, and alternate telephone numbers.
You may also change your disclosure declaration limiting how much information is published
within the University. Each time you make a change on this screen you will receive
an email notification that your information has been changed.
- Office Address Update- You may change your office telephone number and add up to 4
additional telephone numbers for fax numbers, cell numbers, and alternate telephone
numbers. You may also change your disclosure declaration limiting how much information
is published within the University.
- IRS Form W-4 Update – This screen allows you to change the tax withholding declarations
used by the payroll system when calculating your federal income tax withholding. For
example, if you get married or you want an additional amount withheld you may want
to change your current declaration. Each time you make a change on this screen you
will receive an email notification that your information has been changed.
- Personal Data Update – This allows you to create or change the race, ethnicity, and
veteran status you have declared for yourself.
- Education/Degrees Display – This display has been enhanced to show all known degrees
you have received. Previously only the most recent degree was shown.
To access these and all other features of Employee Self Service, please use Firefox.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Employees and their eligible dependents, regardless of whether they participate in
the Group Insurance Program, who may be experiencing personal or work place problems
may access the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). EAP services are provided at no cost and all services are strictly confidential
and can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at 1-855-HERE4TN (1-855-437-3486).
The EAP can help with issues such as family and relationships; child and elder care;
anxiety and depression; workplace conflicts; dealing with addiction; grief and loss;
legal and financial issues; work/life balance.
Individuals receive up to 5 (five) free counseling sessions per episode at no cost
to the participant; however, sessions must be pre-authorized by calling phoning 1-855-HERE4TN
Effective January 1, 2017, Optum Health will be the new behavioral health, substance
abuse and EAP vendor, replacing Magellan. Behavioral health and substance abuse doctors
Job-protected leave to eligible employees for certain family and medical reasons.
Family and medical leave shall run concurrently with paid leave, such as sick leave,
annual leave, personal leave, workers' compensation leave, or any leave of absence
without pay. An employee may request family and medical leave or the University may determine that
the employee qualifies for FML and may place him/her on FML by so notifying the employee.
