Joseph Migga Kizza received his B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science in 1975 from Makerere University , Kampala, Uganda , M.S. in Computer Science in 1980 from California State University, USA, MA in Mathematics from University of Toledo, Ohio, USA in 1985 and a PhD in Computer Science in 1989 from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.
Dr. Kizza has been with the department of Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga , Tennessee from 1989 were he is doing teaching and research in Social computing, Operating Systems, Computer Network Security, Computer Forensics, cloud computing and big data analytics.
