Dorothea Davis is an Administrative Specialist at The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She earned a Bachelor’s of Professional Studies degree in Administrative Studies from Roosevelt University, Chicago and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Public Administration. With over 15 years of administrative and executive administrative assistant experience, Dorothea values the professional relationships that she has built with others above all else. Her working knowledge of behavioral and organizational systems has allowed her to transcend the ranks and acquire positions that have moved her strategically closer to her own personal and professional goals within months of being hired. A consultant providing valuable instruction in the areas of leadership, organizational development, commitment and succession planning, Dorothea offers a multi-disciplined approach to a professional level of communications, staffing, business development, planning, office logistics, and results-oriented support relating to successfully managing priorities, measures of effectiveness, information management, and process improvement of corporate and nonprofit organizational objectives which have produced added value to business operations. Dorothea is also a contributing author to the book, "Beyond Career Decisions: The Value of Purpose and Vision" by Walter K. Davis, MBA. She currently resides in Chattanooga with her daughter, their fish Sandy, and her passion for collecting delectable recipes.
