Charles Sligh specializes in Victorian Literature and the History of the Novel. His
research interests include the works of the Pre-Raphaelite Poets, late-Victorian print
culture, the digital humanities, and the notebooks and manuscripts of Lawrence Durrell.
Dr. Sligh is co-editor for Major Poems and Selected Prose of Swinburne (Yale UP).
He currently serves as co-chair for Durrell 2012: The Lawrence Durrell Centenary.
Campus Emergency Preparedness Exercise is Tuesday, October 21
UTC emergency preparedness personnel, along with local responding agencies such as the Chattanooga City Police Department and the Hamilton County Emergency Medical Service, will be conducting a campus-wide practice exercise and training simulation on Tuesday, October 21, 9 a.m.-noon.
You may see emergency personnel and equipment at various locations on campus. Do not panic. This is all part of the exercise.
In the event of a real emergency, the UTC ALERT system will be activated and relevant information will be shared with the campus.
