Students receiving accommodations for exams will be given access to the testing rooms located on the first floor of Frist Hall, and will be allowed the prescribed accommodations listed on their Accommodation Letter.
Students will need to fill out a Proctor Request Form and submit the form to the DRC 3 business days prior to the test date. Forms to schedule final exams must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled final exam date.
Students will only be allowed to use test materials approved by the professor, along with approved accommodations. All exam materials are kept confidential. Exams are stored in a secure location until the time the exam is administered, and after the administration of the exam until it gets delivered. Exams are administered and monitored by DRC staff.

New Final Exam Procedure
The schedule for final exams has changed beginning Fall '13 as compared to previous years. In the new schedule, exams are in 2 hour blocks with a 30 minute break. Students receiving time and a half on 2 hour exams will receive 3 hours to take their exams, which may cause schedule conflicts with exams starting every 2.5 hours. Also, due to the volume of students being accommodated at the DRC, it will be very difficult having dozens of students starting exams while others are still working to complete theirs, as we are having to accommodate several students in the same room. Having all students start at the same time will help reduce the distraction of having to add students to a room with students already taking exams.
In order to mitigate these conflicts, the DRC has created a structured final exam schedule that follows the old schedule of exams starting every 3 hours. All exams will begin at 8:00am, 11:00am, and 2:00pm, Saturday included). The originally scheduled time of the exam will determine what time students will take their exam here at the DRC as follows:

Unless otherwise specified by the Access Coordinator, any exams originally starting anytime after 3:30 will need to be rescheduled for any of the above DRC times, and the rescheduled time approved by the professor.
Beginning Fall '14, proctor forms are now submitted online. Once you submit the form, you will receive a confirmation email, and the form will be automatically sent both to the Access Coordinator and to your professor. You won't have to do anything else.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Access Coordinator, at 425-4300 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
