Spring Family Day 2017

Make plans to join us on Saturday, February 4th for our Spring Family Day.  Spend the afternoon with us in Chattanooga and help cheer on our men's and women's basketball teams to victory.  This event is for individuals of all ages!

Saturday, February 4

Come join us before the afternoon doubleheader basketball games at the ARC for our PFA Tailgate.  There will be fun for the whole family! Enjoy a number of games and activities, grab a bite to eat, have your picture taken at the photo booth or get your face painted!  

Location:  Aquatic & Recreation Center (ARC) Indoor Basketball Courts

After the tailgate, come over to the arena and cheer on our Lady Mocs to victory as they take on conference rival Samford University.

Location:  McKenzie Arena

Stay for the second half of the day's doubleheader and cheer on our Men's Basketball Team as they take on conference rival Western Carolina University.

Registration Information

PFA Members:  $5/person
Non-PFA Members:  $7/person

UTC Students and Children age 10 and younger are allowed to attend for FREE.  You still need to register them for the event so that we can have an accurate attendance count for tickets.

The registration fee includes admission to the PFA Tailgate (food will be provided) and tickets to both basketball games.

Before You Register

Please read through our event descriptions and the Spring Family Day information carefully before registering. Please note that no refunds will be issued after Friday, January 20.  Be sure to print your confirmation email to bring with you to check-in.

How To Register

  • Click the button below & submit the Spring Family Day Registration Form.
    If your UTC student plans to participate in any part of the day, please make sure to provide his/her name.  You do not have to pay the registration fee for your student.
  • Once your form is received, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details about the weekend and payment (if applicable). Your registration is NOT confirmed until you receive a confirmation email.

Coming From Knoxville or Atlanta

  • Take I-75 toward Chattanooga
  • Merge onto I-24 W via Exit 2
  • Merge onto US-27 N via Exit 178
  • Exit onto 4th Street via Exit 1c (Welcome to Downtown Chattanooga)
  • Go approximately 1 mile and make a right onto Mabel Street
    • McKenzie Arena will be on your right just before Mabel Street
  • Mabel Street will become E. 5th Street
  • The ARC will be on your left, right across from the Arena.

 Coming From Nashville

  • Take I-24 E toward Chattanooga
  • Merge onto US-27 N via Exit 178
  • Exit onto 4th Street via Exit 1c
    • Welcome to Downtown Chattanooga
  • Go approximately 1 mile and make a right onto Mabel Street

  • Take I-59 N toward Chattanooga
  • Merge onto I-24 E toward Chattanooga

  • Go approximately 1 mile and make a right onto Mabel Street
    • McKenzie Arena will be on your right just before Mabel Street
  • Mabel Street will become E. 5th Street
  • The ARC will be on your left, right across from the Arena.

Parking for the ARC is located along E. 5th Street (if available) or in the E. 5th Street Parking Garage.  When parking along E. 5th Street you should not park on any yellow curbs.

While you are visiting Chattanooga, we encourage you to take advantage of some attractions around town. Children enjoy the Creative Discovery Museum while lovers of the outdoors love to spend time at Rock City and Ruby Falls. You will also want to visit downtown area for some great restaurants.
