Brittney, originally from Memphis, TN, is a proud alum of The University of Tennessee of Chattanooga and joined the Counseling Center in June of 2013. Brittney holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration: Non-Profit Management and a Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health, both from UTC. She has worked in an outpatient Addiction Recovery program and has a wealth of experience with young adults and college culture. She is strongly interested in issues evolving from diversity and multiculturalism and also enjoys working with individuals and couples in the following areas: stress and anxiety, women's issues, self-esteem, adjustment issues, sexuality, and relationships. Aside from counseling, Brittney recently picked up sewing, enjoys all things creative, colorful, DIY (do it yourself), and takes great pride in spending time with family and friends.
