Whether you’re a high school student getting ready for college, an undergraduate considering an advanced degree, or an experienced professional interested in advancing your education or maintaining certification, UTC's College of Engineering and Computer Science can meet your needs and help you reach your educational goals. Our college offers students both rigorous coursework and challenging, hands-on experience. Students benefit from smaller classes and a low student to teacher ratio. Our graduate program is one of the fastest growing at UTC. Our campus is also home to the SimCenter: National Center for Computational Engineering. The college has a Work Force Development Office that assists students to gain work experience and develop their interpersonal skills through internships and co-op opportunities with companies throughout Chattanooga and the surrounding areas. We have active student chapters that are affiliated with national Engineering and Computer Science professional societies and organizations. Our graduates can be found working for Fortune 500 companies, local, state and federal governing agencies. Our students put their knowledge to the test by participating annually in national competitions such as Mini Baja, ChemE Car, Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe competitions. As an UTC Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology Management student, you will earn a reputation as a hardworking individual and a solid team leader.
