Four of UTC’s disciplines are structured as discipline specific programs. These are the Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering programs. These programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, 415 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, (410) 347-7700, the national accrediting agency for engineering, computing, and technology programs under their specific Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering programs, respectively.
A fifth program, the Engineering (BSE) program is accredited under the ABET EAC General Criteria and contains five options: Computer, Environmental, Industrial, and Nuclear Engineering and STEM Education. This program is an interdisciplinary engineering program (ENGR) that focuses on providing depth in engineering applications that tend to cross disciplines.
Software Systems, Scientific Applications, and Information Security and Assurance programs are accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, 415 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, (410) 347-7700.
UTC's Engineering Technology Management program, with concentrations in Construction Management and Engineering Management, is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET, 415 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, (410) 347-7700.
