Being a BAP Member

To obtain and maintain membership, members and pledges are required to participate in a number of activities.

Professional Meetings

Members and pledges will be required to participate in a certain amount of professional meetings that will be set by the executive committee prior to the first meeting of the year.

Members and pledges are required to dress in business casual for the meetings, unless informed otherwise by the executive committee. Business casual does NOT mean casual. T-shirts, jeans, and flip flops are NOT allowed. For some events outside of the meetings, members and pledges will be asked to wear business professional.

Community Service
A certain number of community service hours will be required as set by the executive committee prior to the first meeting of the year. These will include several opportunities on and off-campus.

Tutoring
The College of Business provides free tutoring to students through Beta Alpha Psi. Because of this, Beta Alpha Psi requires members and pledges to be able to volunteer for a set time every week during the semester.
