The purpose of the American Red Cross course is to teach candidates the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. The course content and activities prepare candidates to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and prevent drownings and injuries. To enroll in this course you must be at least 15 years old by the last class of the course. To participate in the course you must be able to swim 300 yards continuously and retrieve a 10 pound weight from 10 feet of water.
$125 (plus $75 for course materials paid to the instructor
on the first night)

To get the most from this class, participants need to have at least a basic knowledge of their camera as described in our Beginning Digital Photography class. We will look at some of the more advanced digital controls and concepts, such as resolution and histograms. We will also discuss the creative controls of f-stops and shutter speeds, and more. Details:
Learn to swim at UTC! Ages 6 months - adults. Open to the public. All sessions are Monday-Thursday for two weeks. Each session price includes eight lessons to be completed during one session.
Prices vary based on level. Your level will be determined based on your age and skill set. Please refer to the following links for descriptions of levels and pricing.
