How to Become a Published Author
Calendar: cal11
Posted by: Continuing Education

Poorly written novels are sometimes best-sellers. Beautiful prose isn’t the sole determinant of a novel’s success. You can likely write well enough to sell already, but aren’t meeting the publisher’s needs. In this workshop, a professional editor tells you what publishers want. You’ll learn:
How to keep submissions out of the editors’ “slush pile”•
How to overcome “writers block”•
How to get editors to ask for your submission•
If you’ve already completed your novel, use what you’ll learn to produce a more marketable rewrite.
