An introduction to the basic techniques and theories of video production. Topics include setting up shots, proper camera setup, proper audio recording, and much more. There will be emphasis on producing public affairs, educational, and entertainment content for television and multiple formats.
Most equipment will be provided. Familiarity with Apple computers is recommended. Lecture 2 hours,
laboratory 3 hours.

The Chattanooga Choral Society in collaboration with the UTC Department of Music and UTC Theatre present TREEMONISHA, an opera by famed ragtime composer Scott Joplin. Created in 1910 the opera follows a young woman's quest to encourage the residents of her small Arkansas community to turn away from the controlling power of superstition and move toward a life of enlightenment and education.
