Auditions for the Chattanooga Singers (MUS 0200) take place on the first two days of the semester. The chorus rehearses Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:15-1:30 in Cadek Recital Hall. Auditions consist of singing "My Country 'tis of Thee," range and musicianship checks. A sign-up sheet will be posted on Cadek 306a or you can call or email Dr. Ford for an audition time. His number is 425-5243 or email Kevin-Ford@utc.edu.

The String Project at UTC provides an opportunity for school-aged children to learn a stringed instrument at a reasonable cost. In the spring semester, students may join if they have had previous instruction. Students receive private and group instruction on their chosen instrument. Students in grades 3-12 may apply for admission to the program. If an orchestra exists at the student’s school, they must be enrolled in that group to participate in the String Project. UTC has a limited number of instruments available for rental.
