Voice-overs are hot today! You don’t have to be an actor to get voice-over work, but it certainly doesn’t hurt! With such notable talent as James Earl Jones, Linda Hunt, and Donald Sutherland lending their voices to commercials, films, and videos, one would think that it would be next to impossible to break into this field. Not So! In this class, you will learn about an exciting way to get around the competition and actually turn voice-overs into a thriving full or part-time business! You will practice voice-over techniques and learn the voice-over business as a whole. The instructor will discuss the numerous opportunities, the income potential, and the all-important demo and how to have it produced. You’ll step up to the microphone to do some practice recording, and best of all, hear the results!


Apr 4	5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.	UTC String Project Posted by: Continuing Education Details: The String Project at UTC provides an opportunity for school-aged children to learn a stringed instrument at a reasonable cost. In the spring semester, students may join if they have had previous instruction. Students receive private and group instruction on their chosen instrument. Students in grades 3-12 may apply for admission to the program. If an orchestra exists at the student’s school, they must be enrolled in that group to participate in the String Project. UTC has a limited number of instruments available for rental.
