The String Project at UTC provides an opportunity for school-aged children to learn a stringed instrument at a reasonable cost. In the spring semester, students may join if they have had previous instruction. Students receive private and group instruction on their chosen instrument. Students in grades 3-12 may apply for admission to the program. If an orchestra exists at the student�s school, they must be enrolled in that group to participate in the String Project. UTC has a limited number of instruments available for rental.
