Course # 50055 In this six week class we will learn and engage in a writing process known as Proprioceptive Writing (PW). Whether you are interested in writing primarily for yourself or for an audience, PW can help you express yourself with precision and strength. Through PW you can learn to focus attention, develop discipline, narrate and explore experience in depth, discover life stories, and bring more of yourself into your writing. Your writing will become more textured, cathartic, and fresh. Variety magazine called the play “wondrously mad and moving.” This quirky comedy is about a woman who answers a stranger’s incessantly ringing cell phone only to discover that he is dead and she is suddenly holding the battery powered link between the isolation of life and the inclusiveness of death.
