Writing the Mind Alive
Details:

A simple practice anyone can learn, Proprioceptive Writing enables you to engage your thoughts and feelings in a way that awakens the wisdom inherent in your own mind. While writing proprioceptively, you become open, receptive, and focused. The mind is freed from anxiety and you are left feeling refreshed, energized, and restored to your natural state of vibrant aliveness.

Proprioceptive Method for Finding Your Authentic Voice,
Metcalf and Simon, (Ballantine, 2002).
•Ms. Bright has taught Proprioceptive Writing for over
fifteen years and still works closely with Drs. Metcalf and
Simon, the originators of the process.

UTC String Project
Details:
The String Project at UTC provides an opportunity for school-aged children to learn a stringed instrument at a reasonable cost. Students receive private and group instruction on their chosen instrument from qualified music interns under the supervision of an experienced string music educator. Students in grades 3-12 may apply for admission to the program. If an orchestra exists at the student’s school, they must be enrolled in that group to participate in the String Project. UTC has a limited number of instruments available for rental.

UTC College of Business "Springboard" Business Development Class
Details:
This course is open to individuals from all backgrounds – from artists to business people – who have aspirations of owning or running a business. Participants build a comprehensive business plan for their venture concept, learn to implement valuable management and marketing skills, and receive constructive feedback from an advisor, peers, and former graduates. It is best suited for participants who already have a clear business idea, as the material is applied to that concept’s development. This will be an 8-week program offered as a 3 hour evening course.
