Details:
The UTC Music Department is delighted to present the UTC Orchestra, directed by Jooyong Ahn, and featuring Salome Jordania, Guest Pianist, and Giorgi Jordania, Guest Conductor. The performance will take place in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall at the UTC Fine Arts Center, 752 Vine St., Chattanooga on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. The program features Franz Schubert’s “Symphony in B minor” Unfinished Symphony and Robert Schumann’s “Piano Concerto in A minor”. The performance is presented free of charge and open to the general public.

The UTC Music Department is delighted to present the 2013 Piano Festival featuring guest performers Chih-Long Hu, Miroslav Hristov, Salome Jordania, Johan Sentana and the Students of Dr. Sin-Hsing Tsai; Kelsey Stansell, Amber Snow, Isaac Hinchman, Margaret Cooke, Priska Sentana, Roy Treiyer and Ethan McGrath. Performances will take place in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall at the UTC Fine Arts Center, 752 Vine St., Chattanooga on Friday and Saturday, March 22, 2013 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday March 23 at 5:00 PM and Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. All performances are presented free of charge and are open to the general public.

The UTC Music Department is delighted to present the UTC Chamber Singers European Tour Homecoming Concert, directed by J. Kevin Ford. The performance will take place in Christ Episcopal Church, 663 Douglas St., Chattanooga on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
UTC’s Chamber Singers traveled to Prague, Vienna, Eisenstaedt and Budapest during spring break performing concerts in each of the major cities visited. Highlights from their performance will feature works from their tour, including: the challenging “Chichester Mass” by William Albright, a unique “Da Pacem Domine” made up of composers from all over the world, and two Roland Carter arrangements, “In Bright Mansions Above” and “You Must Have that True Religion”.
The performance is presented free of charge and open to the general public.
