UTC, in collaboration with the Chattanooga Human Resources Association (CHRA), is an official University provider of the SHRM Learning System. This program is a comprehensive review for the Professionals in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professionals in Human Resources (SPHR) exams. Participants receive a complete set of the SHRM Learning System materials, a $425 value. UTC faculty and area professionals teach the course. UTC String Project: level 2 and 3: Mozart

Details:
The String Project at UTC provides an opportunity for school-aged children to learn a stringed instrument at a reasonable cost. Students receive private and group instruction on their chosen instrument from qualified music interns under the supervision of an experienced string music educator. Students in grades 3-12 may apply for admission to the program. If an orchestra exists at the student’s school, they must be enrolled in that group to participate in the String Project. UTC has a limited number of instruments available for rental. |

Beginning Canoeing

Details:
This course will teach the beginning student strokes, parts of equipment, and trip planning. Field experience will be a part of the course. All equipment will be furnished. Students will need to bring their bathing suit, towel, and sandals on the first day of class.
