Details:
The String Project at UTC provides an opportunity for school-aged children to learn a stringed instrument at a reasonable cost. Students receive private and group instruction on their chosen instrument from qualified music interns under the supervision of an experienced string music educator. Students in grades 3-12 may apply for admission to the program. If an orchestra exists at the student�s school, they must be enrolled in that group to participate in the String Project. UTC has a limited number of instruments available for rental.
First Year Students:

$60 per semester

Oct 24	6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.	Suitcase Table: Session 2 Calendar: cal11 Posted by: Continuing Education Details: Transform an old retro suitcase into a stylish table to be used in an entry way or as a bedside table. One of these could fit almost anywhere! Make use of something you may have stored in your attic that you just can�t get rid of, and bring it to life. Bring your own suitcase with a hard exterior, or we can provide you with one for an extra fee (please advise when you register). Come dressed to make a mess. You do not need to be an �artist� to make this versatile, original piece. $40 - bringing your own suitcase or $50 - need suitcase provided (plus $24 materials fee to be paid to instructor at class) When: Thursday, October 24, 2013 Time: 6:00-8:30 p.m. UTC: TBA
