For an exciting boost to combat the late January “blahs,” come and hear the Alexander-Soares Duo in concert at Cadek Recital Hall, at UTC, 725 Oak St., Chattanooga, on January 24, 2013 at 7:30 p.m., featuring James Alexander on violin, and Luciana Soares on piano. They will be performing music by Brazilian composer Liduino Pitombeira, Karol Szymanowski, and UTC composer Jonathan McNair, who is coordinating and hosting the concert. It is presented with the support of the UTC Speakers and Special Events Fund, and the UTC Department of Music.
