The UTC Music Dept. is proud to present Dr. Kristian Klefstad from Belmont University, Nashville in a guest artist recital. Dr. Klefstad’s program for the evening will consist of works by Robert Schumann and Frederic Chopin including Schumann’s Kriesleriana, Op. 16, excerpts from the Scenes from Childhood, Op. 15, and representative pieces from the Chopin Ballades, Etudes, Nocturnes, and Scherzo in B Minor. This program marks the end of a year-long celebration of the bicentennial of the birth of these composers. |

Details:
Variety magazine called the play “wondrously mad and moving.” This quirky comedy is about a woman who answers a stranger’s incessantly ringing cell phone only to discover that he is dead and she is suddenly holding the battery powered link between the isolation of life and the inclusiveness of death.
