Jillian Pennyman has been working with the Postsecondary Awareness With Success program
since 2010. She started in the program as a graduate assistant and moved on to becoming
the program's coordinator and researcher. She received her teaching license, bachelor's
degree, and master's degree in secondary education from UTC. Jillian is now enrolled
in the Master's of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University
of Washington to further her education in organizational policy and leadership. Jillian
has also been awarded the Betty Jane Narver Fellowship through the Washington State
Budget and Policy Center where she will be working while completing her graduate studies
during the 2013-2014 academic year. She is currently the consultant for the PAWS program
as well as the co-author of the PAWS curriculum, Achieving the Dream: College Bound!.
Grote Hall is closed
Due to a sinkhole next to the building, Grote Hall is closed to access. Only classes in Grote Hall are cancelled Monday. Employees in Grote do not need to report to work Monday.
All other classes and campus operations remain on normal schedule.
More information regarding rescheduling of classes will be issued as soon as it is available.
