- Proof of current registered nurse licensure serves as validation of content in Adult Nursing (Nursing 427, 428, 429), Maternal/Child Nursing (Nursing 352, 353, 354), Psychiatric Nursing (Nursing 328, 329). The hours of academic credit for these courses will be entered on the students academic record the semester of graduation with each course receiving a grade of S. Students must have earned a grade of C or better on each previously taken Nursing course to receive credit. Transferred Nursing courses with grades below C must be repeated.

A review of current literature and discussion of issues affecting contemporary womens health. The course will introduce the biological, psychological, social, economic, and cultural factors which affect the health of women in Western society. Students will be challenged to examine their attitudes on controversial issues such as birth control, childbirth alternatives, abortion, womens self image, and aspects of aging. On demand.
