Our part-time teller jobs (we call them Prime Time Teller) may be of interest to college students, and we have one open in Lookout Valley. 

The work schedule is:

  • Monday:  8:00 am - 5:15 pm
  • Friday 9:30 am - 6:15 pm

The hours will remain the same even after the start of the year.  So, the student’s schedule will be something we will have to closely review to ensure there isn’t a conflict when the new semester begins in January.

Our Ag Services operations management interns have the opportunity to challenge themselves and develop their skills at one of ADM’s Ag Services locations. This program provides a training ground for potential future employees and serves as our primary source for full-time employment.

Interns may experience or be trained in the following:

  • Shipping and receiving of grain, feed and/or agricultural products via trucks, railcars and barges;
  • Sampling and grading grain, feed and/or other agricultural commodities;
  • Overseeing hourly employees and assigning work;
  • Transferring, drying, storing, aerating and blending of grain and/or agricultural products;
  • Repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance;
  • Preventative maintenance;
  • Implementation of safety programs and procedures;
  • Regulatory issues (OSHA, EPA, DNR, etc.);

  • Basic accounting (understanding a balance sheet);

This position is not involved in merchandising.


Candidates must be pursuing at least a two year degree in agriculture or a business-related field. The ideal candidate will also possess leadership skills; basic mechanical troubleshooting skills; have the ability to work near or on large bodies of water, at various heights and in confined spaces; and must have adequate transportation to and from work. Having basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.  Some tasks may require the ability to wear a respirator or dust mask and to work in varying conditions such as hot, cold, dusty, etc.

IRONMAN is coming back to town for Ironman Chattanooga and we are again looking to hire local staff to work in our event store.

The positions available in the event store are not volunteer roles, but are part time, temporary positions that are paid $12/hr. We are looking to hire 20-30 individuals with retail experience, but are willing to train just about anyone who is willing to learn, has a good attitude, is friendly and approachable and hard working. 

By accepting shifts in the store as a staff member your responsibilities will include helping set up the store and displays, assisting customers with various needs and questions, restocking, packing, assist in maintaining inventories, providing security throughout the store, breaking down and packing up the store at the end of event. This is a very active work environment so it will be expected that you are willing and capable to lift heavy boxes, bend and reach often and withstand being on your feet all day.

Dan Reynolds Photography is seeking two photographer’s assistants to help with a project at La-Z-Boy factory in Dayton, Tennessee, October 10th-14th.   The hours each day will be 10am until 3pm.  It takes about one hour to get there from Chattanooga.  The assistants will be responsible for moving furniture during the shoot, but only 10 pieces of furniture will be photographed each day. The pay will be $15 per hour plus $15 for gas for each day, totaling $70 each day per person.
