The Career & Student Employment Center, Located in Room 315 University Center, is a free year round job resource center for undergraduates, graduate students and alumni of UTC. A wide variety of services are available, including career fairs, resume workshops, interview skills video tapes, job search seminars, and individual employment counseling.
Through career fairs, job postings, on-campus recruitment and employer information sessions, the Career Center will assist you identify current students and registered alumni. With the exception of career fairs, there is no charge for these services.

Moc Links for Employers...
Allows employers to post degree required job opportunities and make them directly available to UTC students and alumni, while also being able to search for available resumes of qualified candidates. Click on Moc Links for Employers to register and start posting your degree required jobs.
Only full-time degree required jobs are posted in Moc Links. Part-time/temporary and full-time non-degree required jobs are posted on the Career Web Page at job postings and on the Jobs Board in the Career Center. To post a non-degree full-time or part-time job on the Web Page and Jobs Board, send a brief description, describing job responsibilities, requirements and method of contact by e-mail to email@example.com, by FAX to (423) 425-4079, or call (423) 425-4184.
The UTC Moc Links database has web resume books containing resumes of undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni registered with the Career Center. Employers may review resumes in one or all of the resume books. A keyword search box is included for a quick search, or "More Search Options" is provided for an advanced search. The database is not open to third party recruiters.
UTC invites employers to interview students on campus during the months of October through April. An on-campus recruitment date can be arranged by call or e-mail to the Career Center at firstname.lastname@example.org. When a date is chosen, a member of the staff will contact the employer to confirm scheduling details, e.g., job posting, number and length of interview sessions, etc.
Copies of resumes will be provided to the recruiter on the day of the on-campus interviews. Employers who wish to pre-screen student resumes prior to the on-campus recruitment date may request copies of resumes from the Career Center, or review resumes on the Moc Links database.

Career and Student Employment conducts two major career fair each year and other special career fairs as needed by UTC departments or employers. For Career Fair dates, click HERE . Career fairs bring students and graduates in contact with employers, and highly recommended for students and employers.
