Everyone is Welcome to Enroll at Cadek Conservatory!
Cadek Conservatory maintains an open admission policy for students of all ages, from
infants through senior adults, in private, group, and ensemble settings, no matter
what level of musical experience. The Conservatory supports the University of Tennessee
at Chattanooga's mission of an engaged University by providing musical activities
to all ethnic and racial groups within the community and throughout the Chattanooga
Metropolitan area! The Kindermusik program offers lessons to children from newborns
to 7-year-olds. The Piano Klass Kidz program accepts students 6-8 years old.
- All students must register to attend lessons at the Conservatory.
- The Conservatory offers two 18-week terms in each academic year, one in fall and another in spring. For latecomers, we now offer enrollment for 9-week terms that begin in October and March, midway through each 18-week term. Fees are appropriately adjusted for shorter terms. Please see the registration periods for each term on the schedule or academic calendar. To view current term information, click fees, schedules, or calendars.
- A “fully enrolled student” is anyone who is registered for private lessons. The student receives one lesson per week, at the same time and on the same day each week, for 18 weeks, as determined by the instructor. Registered students are also allowed participation in online theory classes (software fee may apply) and certain ensembles without additional course fees. For more information about our theory program, contact Janet Sump, the program’s director.
- “Part-time students,” are those who participate only in 9-week terms or group/ensemble activities. These students are charged the regular fee for all other courses, including online theory programs.
