Applying to the
Brock Scholars Program
Admission to the Brock Scholars Program requires a special application process in addition to the Undergraduate Admissions Application. You do not have to wait for your undergraduate admission to be finalized before submitting the Brock Scholars Application, but you must have at least initiated the undergraduate admission process by submitting that application and paying the accompanying fee.
For first-time freshman admission
Most students admitted to the Brock Scholars Program apply during the fall of the senior year in high school seeking admission as first-time freshmen the following fall. The Brock Scholars application deadline for freshman admission was December 2, 2013 (postmarked). We are not considering any new applications at this point.
For admission after the freshman year
Students who do not enter the Brock Scholars Program as freshmen (either transfer students or continuing UTC students) may apply to become associate members of the program if they have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and have completed 24 or more hours of graded college course work. (Credit assigned for AP or IB scores does not count toward this 24 hour total since it received a grade of "S" and does not count in the college GPA.)
Associate applications are considered once per semester. See our Associate Scholar page for more details and the Associate Application Form.
