Degree Tract: Thesis

Advisor: Dr. Timothy Gaudin

Research Interests: My research is looking at the possibility of small mammals as being possible carriers of the chytrid fungus, Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis. As well as, the influence soil moisture, temperature, and soil pH have on the prevalence of chytrid fungus in the natural environment. Overall, I am interested in understanding the dispersal ability of different animal diseases that can be influenced or affected by different mammal species and abiotic conditions.
