This scholarship award is renewable for up to 3 additional years (6 semesters) based on the student’s academic performance. There is not a 'regain' option for students who do not meet the renewal criteria. Students must be enrolled full-time each fall & spring term to continue to receive the award in future terms. This scholarship cannot be stacked with other institutional scholarships (Chancellor’s, Provost’s, MOCS, Chattanooga YES, Andy Holt, Student Leaders, Academic Service).

If for some reason a student’s admission residency classification is changed from out of state to in-state status or the student receives a fee waiver for out of state tuition, the Gold scholarship award amount would be forfeited.  The actual scholarship amount will be assessed after a student registers for classes not to exceed the standard cost for full time out of state tuition.  This award will not cover extra costs for labs, differential course fees, or music fees.  International students are not eligible to receive this award.
