An important first step in becoming a UTC student is to connect to our online portal called MyMocsnet. The link above will give detailed instructions on how to set up your password. Our primary way to contact you with important dates & information is through your official university email account. The University will communicate official information through this account now that you have been accepted. The link to MyMocsNet is located in the upper right hand corner of UTC’s home page www.utc.edu.

a 45 mile radius of UTC! Students within the 45 mile radius are required to submit
the Residency Exception form.

Reserve your spot in the Fall 2017 freshman class by signing up for an orientation date. Reservations begin January 15th.
Before registering for classes, do you need to take any placement exams? UTC uses your highest ACT math subscore to determine the level of college math at which you can begin taking classes instead of an exam. For English placement we use a Directed Self-placement to determine which class you should take. If you would like more specific placement details, check out the Math Placement or the English Placement website.
The state of Tennessee requires that all students enrolled in state colleges and universities meet certain immunization requirements. UTC students must submit a completed immunization form before they are eligible to register for classes.

We must be able to verify your graduation date before you can begin your college career. Request all AP scores, IB scores, or dual enrollment credits are also directly sent to our office to receive credit. Please ask your school counselor to mail documents to us: UTC Admissions/Dept. 5105, 615 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37403.
