What to Bring and Other Information
- We MUST have
your confirmed registration for the retreat by May
5, 2008 so that we can confirm rooms and
meals with the conference center. If you cancel, back out, or just don't show up after that date, UTC still pays for your room and meals.
- Meals are served family style and are included as a part of the retreat. We must provide the conference center with accurate counts for all meals. Please let us know if you are NOT going to be joining us for all the meals, so we can get accurate counts and so we don't have to pay for meals you don't eat.
- If you have special dietary requirements, please contact the Karen Adsit with your preferences at least two weeks before the retreat begins.
- Sheets and towels are provided.
- Dress is very casual--shorts or baggy trousers; comfortable
shirts or blouses; sandals, tennis shoes or flip-flops. Anything more formal
that this will be confiscated by the "retreat police" and auctioned
to the local fisher-people....
- All the rooms are in the same general area. One person
to a bed, but you can expect to have a faculty roommate of the same gender.
Sorry, there are no provisions for accompanying family members during the
retreat.
- Free time is scheduled for Friday afternoon. There
are many activities available on the conference center grounds or nearby.
Golf, tennis and hiking are nearby as well.
- The retreat is over BEFORE lunch on Saturday.
You are "on your own" for Saturday lunch....
