Our vision is to help give students at UTC an opportunity to strengthen their college experience while preparing them for the roles they will play afterwards. To do this our desire is to involve students and alumni in unique programs that will help keep them connected to each other and to their University.

Through a wide variety of events and partnerships on campus and in the community, we hope that the heart and soul of their Chattanooga experience will keep students engaged with their alma mater for life and prepare them to be active alumni.

The best way for students to get fully engaged in the college experience is to join The FAM - or Future Alumni Members. Open (and FREE) to all UTC students, The FAM is a program for students of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to connect the University, students, alumni and community while enriching the college experience of our members.

For those who are interested in getting involved as a leader on campus, then consider applying for the Student Alumni Council. Established in 1974 under the direction of the UTC Office of Alumni Affairs, SAC members serve as ambassadors of the University and strive to encourage prospective students to attend UTC, enhance present student involvement in the University, and  facilitate an active relationship between students and alumni.
