The Purpose Of Omega Phi Alpha: The purpose and goals of this sorority, shall be to assemble it's members in the fellowship of Omega Phi Alpha, to develop friendship, leadership, and cooperation by promoting sevice to the university-community, to the community-at-large, to the members of this sorority, and to the nations of the world.

Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority was founded June 15, 1967 in Bowling Green, Ohio. Today there are 17 active chapters on college campuses across the nation. Each chapter is unique, but all are dedicated to the sorority's cardinal principles of friendship, leadership, and service. |
Our local chapter, Sigma, was founded December 5, 1993 at the University
of Tennesse at Chattanooga by an alumnea member of our Epsilon chapter
at Tennessee Tech.
