UTC is celebrating the future! Chancellor Roger Brown welcomed UTC faculty and staff to the "Celebrate the Future" campaign last Friday. The campaign featured a two-way video linking all the UT campuses, and featured a video presentation of UTC's acheivements. Chuck Cantrell was master of ceremony and gave away door prizes. Camera 2

---Take HMcoming ots--- COTI : And last homecoming is rapidly approaching us. The dates for homecoming week events are October 1-7. If your organization wishes to compete in thomecoming activates you can pick up a packet in the student development offices upstairs in the UC for more information. Here are some events for Homecoming….

Camera 2 Coti: Now let’s take a look at sports The Steve Baras Fall Classic was hosted by UTC this past weekend. Tim Mittiga, a transfer student from South Australia University, ran through the Flight B Singles bracket undefeated and claimed the fight title. Congratulations Tim!
And On Saturday, the volleyball team will take on Georgia Southern at home at 5:00 p.m. They are hoping to extend their winning streak to 5.Good luck to the volleyball team. Camera 1
Allison : Also in sports The cross country team heads to Kentucky to compete in the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday at 9 a.m. Over 50 schools will be represented this weekend, including some Chattanooga has already faced this season. The Mocs will get a preview of conference opponent Western Carolina, which has 21 total competing in the race. Good luck, Mocs!
<Take national news OTS> According to the Associated Press The principal at Weston School was shot Friday morning by a former student who entered the school armed with multiple weapons The district said that Principal John Klang was shot, but would not confirm his condition. Richland County Sheriff Chief Deputy Tom Hougan was at the scene outside the southwest Wisconsin school, but would not confirm the details because it was not in his jurisdiction. "The students are safe," Hougan told the AP.
