Take OTS-Campus <Add Lib> shaadi: In Campus, here is something to be proud of .According to the 2006 edition of U-S News and World Report’s annual America’s Best Colleges Guide, U-T-C moved from 43rd to 40th among colleges in the south. This is in part due to the fact that we now offer three doctoral programs. Chancellor Roger Brown was quoted as saying and I quote, “I am particularly pleased to see that UTC continues to score well in academic reputation, class size, and other factors of academic quality.” phillip: Take OTS-Campus Career Day is today Wednesday, February 8th @ 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. in the Tennessee and Chattanooga Rooms located in the University Center. Students are encouraged to attend this annual event to network with local and national employers. Career Day provides a great opportunity for students to investigate job opportunities. There will be 89 exhibitors participating. Career Day is sponsored by Placement & Student Employment Center, The Counseling & Career Planning Center, and the Office of Cooperative Education.
Take OTS-Campus shaadi: The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga announces plans for a series of events surrounding the installation of Dr. Roger G.Brown as Chancellor of the institution. On Thursday, February 16, Brown will preside over a University banquet for faculty, staff, and students where he will present his first “State of the University” address. At that time, he will outline his vision for the future of the campus as well as highlight many of the accomplishments of faculty, staff, and students.
OTS Campus phillip: And since this is Black History month Mocs News will keep you updated with what’s going on throughout the month. Tonight check out "Think fast"..black history game show starting at 7 in the UC auditiorm. Cash prizes will be give to quickest thinker...and on Thursday a professor of Cultural studies from Ohio university will contuct the Spetrum of critical consciousness, which is a call to wake up, clean up and stand up." This event will be held in the UC auditiorium @ 7pm.. and the Black Student leadership program will be held on Wednesday, 15th.

Take OTS Sports Phillip:The Lady Mocs posted a 76-59 win over Davidson at Belk Arena Monday night to claim an unprecedented seventh consecutive Southern Conference crown.The win gives Chattanooga its 18th consecutive victory, second in the nation, and at least a share of the league title with 13 SoCon wins. Davidson falls to 12-10 on the year and 8-5 in the conference and are the only team left who can catch UTC.One more win will give the Lady Mocs the title outright.
--TAKE VTR And the men’s Keddric Mays led six Chattanooga players in double figures as the Mocs shot 68 percent in the second half to defeat Wofford 82-71 at The McKenzie Arena Saturday night. Wofford (9-14, 4-6 Southern Conference) ran off 15 straight points to break an early 2-2 tie and led 17-2 with 11:47 remaining in the opening half. After a timeout, the Mocs scored seven straight to trim the Wofford lead to 19-7. The Mocs take on UNC Greensboro on Saturday, Good Luck Guys!
