How to become a member:
Becoming a member of the Chemistry Club at UTC is extremely easy. All you have to do is attend a meeting and pay local dues. Dues are $5 a semester or, $8 for the entire year.
Membership in the National American Chemical Society is encouraged but not required. The cost of a student member of the National ACS is $23 . Membership in the National ACS allows you to:
* Attend National meetings (held in places such as San Francisco and Washington, D.C.)
* Use ACS Career Services - information and a job search engine only available to ACS members
* Learn about opportunities to help spread chemical awareness in your community
* Learn about what Chemists do in the real world
