Pep Lunch Here is where you learn to be a MOC. Representatives from various Mocs varsity athletic teams will be on hand with the UTC Cheerleaders and Band to celebrate what it means to be a MOC!! |
Oak Street Roast This is one of UTC oldest traditions and it is the traditional time when the new students and returning students gather together for the first time. |
Get on Board at the Fall Fair We have over 120 student organizations at UTC and many of them will be out to show you what they can offer. In addition to that, we will have some of Chattanooga's best restaurants on campus handing out free samples and "the Deans" will be out serving up their famous Moc Dogs!! |

The UTC Weeks of Welcome or WOW! (as we like to call it) is a program specifically designed to get the new student connected to the academic and social life of the campus. It is a two week program that is filled with fun (with a little bit of learning mixed in).
We kick off WOW! with our New Student Convocation and end it with our traditional Pre-Labor Day picnic.
