Classrooms around campus are gaining new technology to assist faculty and students with the teaching and learning process. You may notice that these classrooms have sprouted podiums with a variety of presentation technologies available for faculty and student use. Not only will this setup allow the projection of traditional class materials such as overhead transparencies, but it will also project images any solid and or moving objects. But this is not all the podium technology provides. It also has the technology to project from video tapes or DVDs, as well as computerized information from floppies, CD-ROMs, ZIP disks or the Internet.
