International Conferences

The series of innovative national and international conferences the Chair organizes, and co-sponsors with other organizations, makes a significant contribution to public and professional understanding of economics and the critical role played by free markets. These conferences have produced national, and in some cases, international media coverage.

In the House of Lords, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and J.R. Clark discuss Chattanooga's bid for the Mont Pélerin Society Conference.   Jack Kemp, James C. Miller, J.R. Clark and Arthur Laffer discuss Laffer Curves at the conference on "Innovative Applications of the Laffer Curve."
